# NFT & Play-and-Earn

## **What is NFT?**

**NFT** is a digital asset with express ownership on a particular blockchain. Art, music, in-game items or videos can be NFT objects. They are purchased and sold online (often for cryptocurrencies) and are usually encoded with the same basic software as many cryptocurrencies.

An **NFT game** combines traditional game design with non-traditional gaming mechanics in order to provide users with more control over in-game assets such as virtual lands, characters, auxiliary items, etc.

This became possible due to the launch of blockchain games and their tie to the economy based on digital media. Such digital assets are often represented by NFTs, so they are distinguishable and protected from unauthorized access. Adopting NFT token standards also allows developers to keep some of the in-game items rare and unique.

## Play-and-Earn

Whichever way you choose to access these gaming resources, you possess exclusive ownership of them. In fact, you can distribute or sell them and keep all the money received from such deals. That's why this game model is called **play and earn (P2E)**.

## **Play productively!**

**Empire's Battle: World Of Steam** is not a mere time killer with RPG elements. When playing Empire's Battle, players earn tokens through mining and staking. They also collect pieces of unique NFT skins for their characters.

We will release 15 unique NFT cards every month (they won’t be available for sale at the game store, they can only be collected). A player who first collects all the card pieces (which drop out of the enemies) receives an NFT skin for their character. Each such skin is completely unique and will be presented in a single copy for one player 🔥
