{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Sam was Professor Mashivarius's pet raccoon and the first animal to find himself at the very epicenter of the Great Catastrophe. Together with his owner and the small steam-powered robot Argo, he was inside the laboratory at the very moment when the experiment with the first Flur Crystal spiraled out of control.

The wave of energy changed Sam forever. His mind crossed an invisible threshold, granting him the ability to think, speak, and make conscious decisions. At the same time, his aging slowed dramatically, allowing him to live for more than two centuries and become a living witness to the birth of a new world.

After the fall of humanity, Sam wandered the desolate lands for many years, watching as animals gradually gained intelligence while the small robot Argo, step by step, transformed the ruins of the old world into the mighty Steam Empire.

When it became clear that Argo's rule brought the beastfolk not freedom, but slavery, Sam began uniting those who were willing to fight for their future. Thus, the first Resistance cells were formed, and years later, the fortified City of Baobabs arose, becoming a symbol of hope for the free peoples.

Although all military and political decisions are made by the Resistance Council, Sam remains its spiritual leader and the keeper of humanity's memory. His voice is rarely the loudest, yet in the most difficult moments, it is always the decisive one.

{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Liam always looked as though he were on his way to a reception hosted by the aristocrats of the old world. An impeccably pressed tailcoat, a tall top hat, white gloves, and an ever-present smile—it was hard to believe that he was one of the most dangerous explosives experts in the entire Resistance. It was his fondness for such an unusual outfit that earned him the nickname Sir Bombardier among his friends. Over time, almost no one used his real name anymore.

Behind his impeccable manners was an obsessive chemist. Liam could spend days without leaving his laboratory, mixing gunpowder, minerals, oils, and rare reagents in search of ever more powerful explosive compounds. Every new explosion was not a failure to him, but another step toward perfection.

It was Liam who masterminded the boldest assassination attempt on Argo the Eternal during the annual Steam Machinery Festival in Technopolis. For many months, he worked on his greatest creation—a special explosive compound capable of piercing even the defenses of the Steam Emperor.

When the charge detonated, a devastating blast wave swept across the capital's central square. The Imperial platform was reduced to a heap of twisted metal, and for many years afterward, the people remembered the day they believed Argo's reign had come to an end.

But Argo survived.

Although his body suffered severe damage, the power of Flur kept him alive. After the assassination attempt, security throughout Technopolis was strengthened severalfold, and all public ceremonies became heavily guarded military events.

To this day, Liam, Sir Bombardier, is regarded as the one who came closer than anyone else to ending the reign of Argo the Eternal.

# Astrid (Hedgehog)

### &#xD;**"Mechanic"**

**COMBAT SPECS**

▪️HEALTH — 50
\
▪️POWER ATTACK — 2
\

**ACTIVE ABILITY: DEFENSIVE BARRIER**

Astrid deploys a defensive barrier that reduces damage taken by her by 80% and by allies within a 3-tile radius by 50% for 1 turn.

Every 10 character levels increase the ability's effectiveness by 1%.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

They say Astrid's first toy was not a stuffed animal, but an old wrench. While other children played in the streets of Baobab, she spent hours taking apart broken steam-powered machines to understand how they worked, then put them back together—often making them even better than before.

In time, her workshop became the true heart of the Resistance. Steam-powered machines, weapons, and armor were built from her designs, airships were repaired there, and new mechanisms were assembled. If something could be repaired or improved, Astrid always found a way to do it.

But it was not another invention that brought her true fame. It was a single screw.

For a long time, she studied the railway that the robots of the Steam Empire used to transport coal and resources to Technopolis. After examining hundreds of components, Astrid discovered the weak point in the entire system. Under the cover of night, she quietly unscrewed just one small fastening screw.

The next morning, a massive freight train carrying coal for the Empire's factories derailed. Rail traffic was paralyzed for several weeks, while the newspapers of Technopolis spent a long time explaining the disaster as "an unforeseen technical malfunction."

Since then, people in the Resistance have said that Astrid's strength lies neither in a hammer nor in a weapon. She wins by knowing exactly which screw to unscrew.

While the ability is active, each successful attack restores Health to the Shaman and all allies equal to 40% of the damage dealt.

Every 10 character levels increase the ability's effectiveness by 1%.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Few know how old Mambo truly is. Some say he was born shortly after the Great Catastrophe. Others believe he witnessed the final days of humanity with his own eyes. The shaman himself never answers such questions. He simply smiles mysteriously and gazes into the distance.

Mambo built his small hut in a peaceful place not far from the City of Baobabs, surrounded by ancient cliffs, dense forests, and crystal-clear lakes. It is there that those in need of advice, healing, or help come to seek him out. To some, he is a wise mentor; to others, a healer; and to many, the last keeper of the ancient knowledge preserved since the time of the Great Catastrophe.

It is said that Mambo can speak with the spirits of his ancestors, hear the voice of nature itself, and foresee signs long before they come to pass. More than once, his warnings have saved the Resistance from destruction, and his wisdom has guided decisions upon which the fate of the entire beastfolk depended.

It was Shaman Mambo who once entered a deep trance and encountered the Lord of the Depths—an ancient being who guards knowledge beyond the reach of any living soul. After that encounter, the shaman became even more certain that the world's destiny had only just begun to unfold.

When the spirits spoke to him again, their words carried an unfamiliar sense of тревоги.

They whispered that the time had come for all living beings to unite. That the beastfolk once again needed his voice. That the time had come to stand against the living iron.

And since that day, the Old Shaman has once again walked beside those who fight for the future of the free world.

Every 10 character levels increase the chance of enemies targeting Drevus by 3%.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

There was a time when the name of General Drevus inspired fear throughout the Steam Empire. He was one of Argo the Eternal's most gifted commanders, personally leading the Empire's largest military campaigns and regarded as the very embodiment of unwavering loyalty to the Emperor. His army rarely knew defeat, and every order was carried out with the cold precision of a machine.

But Drevus's fate was changed by a single battle.

During a fierce battle near the Village of Baobabs, a powerful explosion erupted close to him. A shard of a Flur Crystal, propelled by the tremendous force of the blast, pierced the general's metal skull and forever changed his mind.

For two days, Drevus lay motionless, suspended between life and death. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw an entirely different world. For the first time in many years, he no longer saw endless war, but the price living beings had been paying for it. He realized that strength exists not to enslave, but to protect.

Without hesitation, Drevus abandoned the Steam Empire and swore to devote the rest of his life to protecting the beastfolk.

Astrid restored the general's damaged body, making it even stronger and more resilient than before. Yet Drevus's greatest weapon was never his steel or his armor, but his invaluable experience. He knows the structure of Argo's army, its battle formations, strengths and weaknesses, the habits of its generals, and the tactics of its iron legions better than anyone else.

To the Resistance, Drevus became more than a mighty warrior. He became living proof that even one who had served the Steam Empire for many years could change his destiny and stand in defense of all living beings.

# Will (Rabbit)

### &#xD;**"The Destroyer"**

**COMBAT SPECS**

Every 10 character levels increase the Protection reduction by 1%.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Will lost his front paw as a child after being caught in one of the traps that the rangers of the Steam Empire had set on the lands of the free beastfolk. For several days, he lay in the forest, suspended between life and death, until a Resistance reconnaissance squad found him and brought him to one of the mountain outposts.

It seemed that the little rabbit's life would never be the same again. But fate decided otherwise.

Several years later, an eccentric muskrat scientist named Mick created a unique mechanical arm for Will. It not only completely replaced his lost limb but also allowed him to wield a weapon that would have been too heavy for most beastfolk.

That was how Will came to possess his legendary steam-powered grenade launcher.

The heavy weapon, which others could barely move, became an extension of his own arm. With every shot, Will further lived up to his nickname, The Destroyer, turning enemy fortifications and iron legions into heaps of twisted metal.

His name has long been known throughout the Steam Empire. Argo's robots and officers know that if the deep roar of a steam-powered grenade launcher echoes across the battlefield, Will is somewhere nearby. And then there is almost nowhere left to take cover.

Despite his destructive power, Will himself remains kind-hearted and calm. He rarely speaks about the past, but every new battle reminds him of the day the Empire's trap changed his life forever. Now he fights so that no beastfolk will ever have to endure the same fate.

{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Kate lost everything—her home, her family, and the life she had always known—when Argo's iron soldiers razed her forest to the ground in search of Flur deposits. For a long time, she wandered alone, making her way almost blindly through the smoking ruins of cities and the enemy's mechanical barriers.

One day, Kate found herself alone against an enemy squad. The odds were against her. Out of nowhere, a group of Resistance fighters led by Sam the Raccoon appeared and helped her survive. It was then that she realized that loneliness was not salvation, but a slow death. Argo's army could not be defeated alone.

That day, she made herself a promise: to help every fighter who stands in defense of freedom. To support, to cover, and never abandon them—no matter the cost.

After joining the Resistance, Kate found her true calling. No one moves faster than she does through the trees or across the rooftops of Technopolis. In battle, she does not fight on the front line. She sees everything, relays information to her allies instantly, and, when needed, delivers ammunition and explosive charges to them under enemy fire.

In battle, Kate is the eyes and wings of the squad.

She glides silently over the battlefield, studying enemy positions before they have time to react. She knows every route, every alternate path, and every gap in Argo's mechanical fortifications. While her allies advance, Kate already knows what awaits them ahead and relays reconnaissance reports without delay.

Thanks to her, the squad never advances blindly and is always two or three steps ahead of the enemy. She opens the way—the others move forward.

{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

While the Steam Empire ruled the streets of Technopolis, the true master of the Lower City never sat on a throne. His power was born in dark alleys, underground workshops, and abandoned tunnels beneath the city.

That master was a cat named Coin, better known as "Four Fingers."

It was Coin who founded the Coiners Gang, turning it into the most influential criminal organization in Lower Technopolis. Under his control were underground gambling houses, smuggling routes, secret workshops, and the production of counterfeit Imperial coins. All of this existed right under Argo the Eternal's nose, yet neither the Empire's police nor its intelligence service ever managed to destroy Coin's criminal empire.

In his youth, Coin was an ordinary stray kitten struggling to survive on the streets of Technopolis. He quickly realized that in this world, strength does not always defeat intelligence. While others fought over scraps, Coin learned to observe, listen, and calculate other people's mistakes several steps ahead.

His life changed the day he saved a young dog named Not, who had stolen a steam-powered rifle from one of the Empire's military manufactories. Coin led him through the old sewer tunnels, which he knew better than any city engineer, and helped him escape the pursuing robots. It was then that a friendship was born between them, laying the foundation for the Coiners Gang.

Coin earned the nickname "Four Fingers" because of his unusual habit of wearing massive gold rings on four fingers, connected together into a heavy knuckle-duster. But there are other rumors throughout Lower Technopolis. Some claim that each ring reminds him of one of the most dangerous enemies he once defeated. Coin himself never confirms these stories and only responds with a mysterious smile.

Despite his criminal past, Coin lives by his own code. He despises betrayal, always keeps his word, and protects those he considers his own. That is why even the Resistance sometimes turns to the Coiners Gang for help when a job must be done that no one else is willing to take.

People in Lower Technopolis have long said: if you become Coin's enemy, you may hide from the police, escape the robots, and even get away from the Empire. But no one has ever escaped "Four Fingers."

#### HERO STORY

In Lower Technopolis, there are places where even the Steam Empire's patrols do not dare to go. For many years, those places have been controlled by the Coiners Gang, which oversees underground gambling houses, smuggling, secret workshops, and the production of counterfeit Imperial coins.

The right-hand man of its leader, Coin, is a dog known as Not "Machine Gun."

No one knows exactly how many high-profile robberies, raids, and daring operations were planned with his involvement. It is said that Argo's best investigators tracked the Coiners Gang more than once, but each time they returned empty-handed. In the criminal underworld, Not's name has long been synonymous with cold-bloodedness, discipline, and ruthless precision.

He earned his nickname because of his love for a heavy steam-powered machine gun. In his paws, the massive weapon seems almost weightless, while its long bursts become a deadly wall of metal capable of stopping even the Empire's heavily armored robots.

Not rarely speaks and almost never raises his voice. But if he has taken up his weapon, negotiations are over.

He serves neither the Steam Empire nor the Resistance. For him, only the interests of the Coiners Gang and his word given to his own matter. However, whenever the fate of Lower Technopolis is at stake, Not does not hesitate to turn his steam-powered machine gun against the living iron.

Flame is the very essence of Gadriel and always seeks to protect the Daughter of Fire and her allies. Gadriel's and all allies' Power Attack increases by 5% each turn, stacking up to 6 times.

Requires the full "Avengers" squad to participate in battle.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Once, Gadriel was an ordinary salamander who lived with her tribe deep within underground crevices, where rich deposits of Flur crystals were hidden among ancient rock formations. Generation after generation, the salamanders protected these sacred places, believing it was their highest duty to guard the crystals from any intrusion. They never sought to use the power of Flur for their own strength. To them, preserving the balance of nature and fulfilling the duty of their ancestors was far more important.

But one day, their peaceful life came to an end.

The Steam Empire's robot army discovered the underground settlement and attacked the salamander tribe. A fierce battle began. Many defenders were killed, while others were taken prisoner. Despite their desperate resistance, the odds were overwhelmingly against them.

At the darkest moment of her life, Gadriel saw the shimmering glow of the Flur crystals. Breaking one of her people's oldest taboos, she consumed several small crystals in the hope of saving her tribe.

The power of Flur awakened the fire hidden within her. Blazing whirlwinds of flame erupted around Gadriel, while walls of fire rose before the advancing robots. Inspired by her courage, the other salamanders returned to the fight and managed to repel the unexpected attack.

However, the victory came at a heavy price.

The power granted by Flur became not only a gift, but also a great responsibility. Gadriel understood that she could never return to her former peaceful life as the guardian of the underground caves.

Leaving her tribe under the protection of her fellow salamanders, Gadriel traveled to the City of Baobabs to join the Resistance. During her long journey, she met her future companions: a cunning platypus known as Grabber and a kind-hearted half-porcupine beaver named Ridge. Together, they formed the Avengers Team and devoted themselves to protecting the beastfolk in the war against the Steam Empire.

{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Scrouplat was born in the harsh lands of the Lower Swamp, a place where life teaches you from your very first days to survive at any cost. He learned one simple truth early on: if you are not more cunning than everyone else, you will not survive there for long.

When he was still very young, he lost his parents. The Steam Empire sent them to forced labor in the mines of Dragon Ridge, and they never returned. Left alone, Scrouplat had to fight for survival by himself, gradually becoming a skilled thief, swindler, and master of countless scams.

His talents soon became known far beyond the Lower Swamp. He could steal a purse filled with Flur crystals from a rich man's pocket without being noticed, slip into a heavily guarded mansion, or deceive even the most cautious merchant so skillfully that the merchant would still be thanking him for a "successful deal."

But despite his reputation, Scrouplat never forgot who had taken his family from him. Throughout his life, he dreamed of taking revenge on the Steam Empire, knowing that he could never defeat such a powerful force alone.

So one day, he set out for the City of Baobabs to join the Resistance.

During his journey, Scrouplat met two unusual companions: the mysterious salamander Gadriel and the kind-hearted half-porcupine beaver Ridge. Although the three of them were completely different, they were united by one goal—to protect the free beastfolk from the Steam Empire.

That was how the Avengers Team was formed, and for the first time in his life, Scrouplat realized that true wealth is measured not by stolen coins, but by friends who are ready to cover your back in the hardest moments.

#### HERO STORY

Ridge was born shortly after the Great Catastrophe in the forests near Professor Mashivarius's laboratory. A powerful wave of radiation changed the surrounding world forever, and it was then that an extraordinary creature was born as the result of an unusual mutation, inheriting the traits of two animals—a beaver and a porcupine.

From an early age, Ridge had to learn how to survive. The forests around Technopolis were full of danger, and constant battles with the Steam Empire's robots hardened his character. He lost many friends in those battles, but each new fight only strengthened his determination to protect the free beastfolk.

Blessed with tremendous physical strength and an unbreakable will, Ridge swore to devote his life to fighting the living iron. He always believed that one day the Resistance would be able to stand against the Steam Empire and restore freedom to those who had lost it.

Fate brought Ridge to the City of Baobabs, where he met unusual allies along the way—a cunning platypus named Scrouplat and the mysterious salamander Gadriel. Despite their different pasts, they were united by one goal—to protect the free beastfolk.

That was how the Avengers Team was formed. They joined the Resistance and began fighting for the future of the world.

{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Very little is known about Brommy's past. He never speaks about his life, and whenever the conversation goes too far, he simply smiles silently and changes the subject.

Among the miners, all kinds of rumors circulate. Some claim that Brommy was once a member of a guild of assassins. Others believe that he spent many years working for the Steam Empire, exploring its most dangerous underground tunnels. Brommy himself confirms none of these stories.

However, no one would argue that he has no equal when it comes to finding deposits of Flur and other rare minerals. He can sense rich veins where everyone else sees nothing but ordinary rock. Thanks to this talent, Brommy became one of the finest treasure hunters in the entire Resistance.

But experience alone is not what makes him a dangerous opponent.

Brommy is also a talented engineer. He builds almost all of his equipment with his own paws. His famous mechanical manipulators and powerful steam drills mounted on his back have saved his life many times in battles against both the Steam Empire's robots and the monsters lurking deep within the old mines.

During one of his expeditions, Brommy met a mouse named Lucy. She accompanied the miners as a medic, but she was just as comfortable navigating the underground labyrinths as anyone else, having grown up among the mines of Dragon Ridge.

It did not take long for them to realize that they complemented each other perfectly. Lucy saved lives, while Brommy found paths to places where no one else dared to go.

That was how the Treasure Hunters team was formed.

From that day on, no valuable Flur vein could remain hidden from their eyes for long.

{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**ACTIVE ABILITY: LOTUS TOUCH**

Lucy applies a Flur Lotus to an ally's wound, restoring 10% of their Health and removing negative effects (Bleeding and Poison).

{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**PASSIVE ABILITY: TREASURE HUNTERS**

When the full collection is completed, the adit gathers 15% more resources (Dust, Iron, Copper, and Mica). Dust loss from cave-ins is reduced by 10%.

Requires the full "Treasure Hunters" hero collection.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

From childhood, Lucy studied under the finest healer in her mining town near Dragon Ridge. She treated wounds and illnesses with herbs and medicinal brews. On the day she came of age, her mentor gave her a rare Lotus bud from the Flur Swamps. Infused with the power of Flur, this bud, when used properly, helped heal wounds and drive away disease.

One day, a cave-in occurred in one of the adits, claiming the lives of many miners. Lucy herself was trapped beneath the collapse. A massive boulder pinned her arm, leaving her with no hope of escape. She spent almost a month trapped among the rocks in a dark cave, only a few meters away from a massive Flur vein. The radiation emitted by the Flur kept Lucy's body from dying. But that same radiation, together with the constant pain, thirst, and hunger, slowly drove her mad.

That was how her second personality was born—the Bone Collector.

When the Bone Collector finally took complete control of her mind, she bit off the arm trapped beneath the boulder and escaped to the surface. The farther the Bone Collector moved away from the Flur veins and their radiation, the faster Lucy—the kind and gentle herbalist mouse—returned.

She was immediately taken to a hospital in the city, where her damaged arm had to be amputated. Three days later, the famous doctor who had performed the operation disappeared, along with his surgical instruments. That same day, Lucy also vanished. A week later, newspapers across both the Steam Empire and the Resistance were filled with reports of a serial killer who severed the limbs of victims, whether they were robots or beastfolk.

After some time, Lucy managed to subdue the Bone Collector and learned to control her.

In one of the underground taverns, she met a mole named Brommy. Brommy was a treasure hunter who could sense valuable mineral veins from miles away. But digging through rock and descending alone into the depths of old adits was extremely dangerous. Those underground passages were sometimes infested with all kinds of creatures that had to be fought. Brommy was neither a coward nor weak, but even he often needed help—especially the help of a medic.

That was how the Treasure Hunters team was formed.

In addition to her healing abilities, Lucy proved herself to be a first-class fighter who showed no mercy to her enemies. She wielded her terrifying medical saw with great skill, using it as a replacement for one of her arms. From time to time, in the heat of battle, Brommy noticed a strange bloodthirsty gleam in Lucy's eyes and a crooked smile, but he never paid much attention to it.

{% hint style="info" %}
**PASSIVE ABILITY: DECAY**

Nothing lasts forever. Everything will become decay. The metal and flesh of all enemies rot away into dust. Deals 25 damage to all enemies every turn.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Demandred barely remembers his father. His entire childhood was spent with his mother, a simple healer who lived in a small mountain village at the foot of Dragon Ridge. She treated the sick with herbs, helped women in childbirth, and never turned away anyone who came seeking help.

But the time came when fear proved stronger than reason.

The Inquisitors of the Children of Light began traveling across the surrounding lands. They searched for those they believed to be servants of Darkness, witches, and heretics. A single accusation from one of the villagers was enough for Demandred's mother to be condemned as a witch.

When the boy was only a few years old, she was tied to a stake in the village square and burned alive.

He saw everything.

He heard her final screams.

And he remembered the faces of those who called themselves the Children of Light.

While the adults were occupied with the execution, Demandred managed to escape. For several months, he wandered at the foot of Dragon Ridge, hiding in forests, abandoned mines, and deserted huts. Hunger, cold, and loneliness should have claimed the child's life, but fate decided otherwise.

High in the mountains, he was found by the Servants of Decay.

They gave him food, shelter, and, for the first time in many months, called him one of their own. But not everyone was worthy of joining them.

Before entering the Order, Demandred swore an oath to serve Decay and to carry out the will of the Great Lord until his final breath. From that day on, his former life came to an end.

The years transformed the frightened boy into an unbreakable warrior. Day after day, he studied the teachings of Decay, mastered the art of combat, and hardened his body until he proved worthy of undergoing the Order's greatest trial—the initiation into the Knights of Decay.

Necromancers and Gravesmiths prepared his body for the ancient ritual.

The heavy black armor was not placed upon him like ordinary armor.

It was fused into his flesh.

Iron entered his body. Chains fused with his muscles. Plates grew into his bones. Rivets and seams became a permanent part of him.

From that day on, Demandred could no longer remove his armor.

He did not wear it.

He lived inside it.

After his initiation, Demandred became one of the greatest Knights of Decay and one of the Order's supreme commanders on the battlefield. He is entrusted with the hardest battles, the most dangerous campaigns, and the most important military operations. His name inspires fear in his enemies, while to the Servants of Decay he has long become a symbol of unbreakable will and martial valor.

But deep within, Demandred is driven by more than faith in Decay.

He still remembers the fire.

He remembers his mother's face.

And every time he meets the Children of Light on the battlefield, he sees not warriors before him, but those who once took everything from him.

To everyone else, he is the merciless Knight of Decay.

To himself, he is the child who was never able to forgive.

The Light loves its children and is always ready to protect them. Wounds miraculously heal, restoring 20 Health to all allied heroes every turn.
{% endhint %}

#### HERO STORY

Tirion never knew a peaceful childhood.

He was born in a small village hidden among the forests at the foot of Dragon Ridge. His family lived a simple life until one night their settlement was struck by a true nightmare.

The Servants of Decay emerged from the darkness.

With them marched an army of the dead.

To the tolling of funeral bells and grim chants, the undead swept through the village, destroying every living thing in their path. One house after another was consumed by flames, while those who tried to escape were cut down by the swords and claws of the risen dead.

Realizing that there was no way to save her son, Tirion's mother hid him beneath the wooden floor of their house and covered the hidden hatch with her own body.

It was the last time he ever saw her alive.

Only with the first rays of the morning sun did the boy dare to come out.

Deathly silence surrounded him.

The village was gone.

Everywhere lay the bodies of his family, friends, and neighbors. There was no one left who could even call him by his name.

For several days, Tirion wandered at the foot of Dragon Ridge, hiding among forests, cliffs, and burned ruins. He drank rainwater, survived on whatever food he could find, and every night feared hearing the funeral chants of the Servants of Decay once again.

A few days later, he was found by a wandering monk of the Children of Light.

The monk did not ask about the boy's past. He simply reached out his hand and led him high into the mountains, to one of the ancient temples of the Order.

There, Tirion's new life began.

He became one of the most gifted students in many generations. With extraordinary determination, he studied the teachings of the Light, mastered the sword, strengthened both body and spirit, and learned the art of receiving and channeling the Light.

Years of trials transformed the orphaned lion cub into the greatest Paladin of Light.

His white-and-gold armor, marked by countless battles, became a symbol of hope for his allies and a sign of defeat for his enemies. Tirion is entrusted with the hardest battles and the most important military campaigns. He is rightfully regarded as one of the supreme commanders of the Children of Light's armies on the battlefield.

But even after all these years, Tirion's heart still carries the pain of that night.

He still remembers his mother.

He remembers the deserted village.

He remembers the deathly silence that followed the departure of the army of Decay.

And every time he meets the Servants of Decay on the battlefield, he sees not warriors before him, but those who once took away his home, his family, and his childhood.

To everyone else, he is the legendary Paladin of Light.

To himself, he is the boy who once swore that no child would ever again have to endure what he had endured.

# Item Synthesis

{% hint style="info" %}
**Item synthesis in Empire’s Battle is a core mechanic that allows players to upgrade their heroes’ equipment** — weapons, armor, accessories, and boosters.
{% endhint %}

### **FEATURES:**

▪️ There are 10 levels of synthesized items in total. The base level is 0 (available for all items by default). An item is considered synthesized starting from level 1 and is displayed in the inventory with a level indicator.

**Synthesis Scheme 1 (same levels)**

&#x20; 0+0 = lvl 1

&#x20; 1+1 = lvl 2

&#x20; 2+2 = lvl 3

&#x20; 3+3 = lvl 4

&#x20; 4+4 = lvl 5

&#x20; 5+5 = lvl 6

&#x20; 6+6 = lvl 7

&#x20; 7+7 = lvl 8

&#x20; 8+8 = lvl 9

&#x20; 9+9 = lvl 10

**Synthesis Scheme 2 (one level lower)**

&#x20; 0+0 = lvl 1

&#x20; 1+0 = lvl 2

&#x20; 2+1 = lvl 3

&#x20; 3+2 = lvl 4

&#x20; 4+3 = lvl 5

&#x20; 5+4 = lvl 6

&#x20; 6+5 = lvl 7

&#x20; 7+6 = lvl 8

&#x20; 8+7 = lvl 9

&#x20; 9+8 = lvl 10

▪️ Synthesis enhances an item’s attributes — energy, defense, attack power, dexterity and power — increasing its overall value and effectiveness.

▪️ The success rate of synthesis depends on the selected scheme, item level, and rarity: standard, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, or limited.

▪️ If synthesis fails, one or both of the source items may be destroyed.

▪️ Limited items (for example, from the Legends of the Past set) are always synthesized successfully.

▪️ Synthesis time may range from several minutes to several hours.

{% hint style="info" %}
**‼️ With an active “Master” subscription, your chances rise significantly:** the success rate of synthesis for any scheme and at any level increases by 5%, and the synthesis time is reduced to just 1 minute.
{% endhint %}

# NFT & Play-and-Earn

## **What is NFT?**

**NFT** is a digital asset with express ownership on a particular blockchain. Art, music, in-game items or videos can be NFT objects. They are purchased and sold online (often for cryptocurrencies) and are usually encoded with the same basic software as many cryptocurrencies.

An **NFT game** combines traditional game design with non-traditional gaming mechanics in order to provide users with more control over in-game assets such as virtual lands, characters, auxiliary items, etc.

This became possible due to the launch of blockchain games and their tie to the economy based on digital media. Such digital assets are often represented by NFTs, so they are distinguishable and protected from unauthorized access. Adopting NFT token standards also allows developers to keep some of the in-game items rare and unique.

## Play-and-Earn

Whichever way you choose to access these gaming resources, you possess exclusive ownership of them. In fact, you can distribute or sell them and keep all the money received from such deals. That's why this game model is called **play and earn (P2E)**.

## **Play productively!**

**Empire's Battle: World Of Steam** is not a mere time killer with RPG elements. When playing Empire's Battle, players earn tokens through mining and staking. They also collect pieces of unique NFT skins for their characters.

We will release 15 unique NFT cards every month (they won’t be available for sale at the game store, they can only be collected). A player who first collects all the card pieces (which drop out of the enemies) receives an NFT skin for their character. Each such skin is completely unique and will be presented in a single copy for one player 🔥

The characters also need to be cared about and make sure they are strong on the battlefield and do not die in the barracks from exhaustion.

# Plot

## **Chapter: Failed experiment** 🧪

Professor Machivarius looked back, when he heard the creaking gears of a small steam robot. As usual, his assistant put a cup of coffee on the worktable, nearly dropping a stack of blueprints on the floor.

\- Watch your step! Heh... – the professor was sad to realize that only an old robot and a pet raccoon could watch the results of the most important work of his life in the excellently equipped lab. The huge discovery is about to be completed to let the main thing happen: airships, steam locomotives, self-propelled carts – they all will no longer be so slow! The world will shudder from the new speeds of the transport, and maybe not just it... The last important experiment is ahead.

The sign of the station flashed in the window featuring the date: 1891. It's been three years since progress reached their little town. The local moneybags now snobbishly park by their mansions in their cars gleaming chrome and puffing black exhaust. Of course, the new steam engine factory boiled their sleepy place, opening several thousand jobs. Now celebrities visit the city, because the airship parking lot magically appeared next to the factory.&#x20;

Machivarius looked into the mirror: a haggard hermit looked backed at him, with dozens of brilliant inventions behind his back. Unfortunately, nobody knew about them. Envious people and thieves! The so-called "colleagues" are dust at his feet! Everyone he trusts is right here: Sam the raccoon and his first development back from school years – a robot that can only bring coffee and put a dirty cup in the sink. Ah, no! Both of his friends can something else – listen! Well, it's time to get back to work.&#x20;

After a couple of years, his gamma emitter is almost ready. Sleepless nights are over. Shh! It's a secret... The professor nervously looked around. Oh, my! Just a few more hours, and nobody can beat him in intelligence on this planet! Indeed, his invention turned out to have many interesting properties. His colleagues would have paid a lot to take a look at the scientific calculations and participating in the final experiment. No! Don’t worry, it's time to get back to the tools.&#x20;

Machivarius flipped a switch in the bunker. He had to move all the equipment down there for the final experiment. The waves he discovered were truly all-penetrating. Theoretically, he could simply take a “shower” of special particles in order to make a breakthrough and reach the divine level of intelligence! Well, everything is ready – the last look at the dashboard of the emitter installation... And now it's time.&#x20;

Damned absentmindedness! He forgot to lock the bunker door! The raccoon, his pet, ran straight into his hands for crackers, which it always found hidden in his pocket... However, the sensitive equipment instantly detected to the "extra" passenger and caused a short circuit... Flash! The boiler hissed like an angry kettle, the wires sparkled and hummed, smoke poured out. Explosion!&#x20;

Black ash was slowly falling on the recently shining dashboard... The blown-out windows covered everything around as a crunchy carpet...&#x20;

What is that? What rustle is there in the corner of the destroyed lab? No way! Is it a fat raccoon, size of a 10-year-old kid? As reflected by the cunning expression of his eyes and the key to the bunker door in his paw, our friend Sam turned out to be not that simple at all.&#x20;

Pompously waddling, the raccoon slowly left the bunker, gently locked the heavy door, and walked away from the house of his former master.&#x20;

He was not very surprised when a dog pompously came out of the next doorway to meet him. Rottweiler was holding a large package in his paws, a luxurious pistol hanging down from it... Well, it looks like a lot will change in the town now\... Probably not just in it.

## **Chapter: Argo the Immortal🔱**

Click-click... The robot carefully got up from the floor, where he had been knocked over by the shock wave. Click-click... He examined himself leaning against the table. Coffee. Yes, master will want his coffee. Master? Is master alive? The robot walked down to the bunker entrance. He pulled at the locked door. It's good that he knows where another key is. Now the Robot has no master. No master? But what about coffee? Well, he now has lots of other stuff to do.

*… 200 years passed…*

The robot glanced at the calendar on the office wall: 2091. It has been 2 centuries since the explosion in his former master’s lab. The world has changed since then. There are no more human masters and their pets — now it’s his Technopolis, which gradually turned into a former town with the factory. And now it’s him – Argo the Immortal.

<div align="center"><img src="/files/04nTXveFRUagpGUPIpgE" alt="Argo the Immortal"></div>

Trains carry fuel and parts to his factories, where he creates his own kind. Such robots are less intelligent but very executive. Metal is boiling in giant cauldrons to cast strong robot frames, and smoke over the roads between the factory buildings is evidence that all the coal delivered by steamships has been used.

He only made the assistant factory managers really smart to keep order while the Robot was busy with more important business. The master’s diaries were a good help in this. Indeed, Machivarius was a genius!

There are other cities, where intelligent animals have settled. All of them can confidently handle a wrench and prefer goggles to ordinary glasses to look at new perfect mechanisms.

Remember our friend Sam the raccoon? He was the ancestor of the most powerful dynasty of raccoons. There are other dynasties as well: sharks, rabbits, hamsters, hedgehogs, foxes… They are building the future now. What about people? They are gone. The radiation that made animals and one robot intelligent turned out to be fatal for humans.

The land is now divided into the protected territories ruled by the Argo the Immortal’s governors. Their task is to ensure the uninterrupted extraction of fuel and crystals to follow the order of the ruler.

## **Chapter: Rebels from the Baobab city** 🌳

It could seem that everything is reasonably arranged now. Argo is confident that the world has become a much better place, but the rebels don’t agree. You can find a family ready to fight in every house in their Baobab city, where tall, armored trunks soar dozen meters into the sky. The war has been going on for 50 years now. The leaders of the Resistance lead the battles. Forward warbands are attacking plants, factories, and convoys like elusive shadows now.

***The goal of the fights is to make the robots leave.*** Animals can no longer live where new factories are built, and the resources of their lands are gradually depleted. What happens tomorrow if Argo the Immortal doesn't get his fuel? The struggle for Flur crystals also generates fierce battles. Both robots and animals want to own Flur and feel its power.

Brave animals learn to hold a rifle in their paws and aim at the enemy from a young age. Everyone dreams to take part in the battle and prove they can beat the hated robots no worse than others!

It was decided: Argo should be destroyed. There will be no more factories, polluted air, scorched earth, oppressed communities, and occupied Flur deposits. Peace, freedom, and healthy new generations inspire the Resistance to new attacks and plans to invade Technopolis.

## **Chapter: Flur Crystal** 💠

Something strange appeared on the day the professor lost control over the radiation. The Earth's deep interiors transformed into deposits of shining crystals. The planet got covered with cracks here and there, with magical, beautiful blue light shining from below.

The first animal settlements were founded around such deposits. For some unknown reason, all living things were drawn to these crystals. These crystals fascinated and captivated the minds. Over time, the crystal was given a light and elegant name, "Flur".

Flur quickly became the major currency and increased its value because of the few found deposits and its unique influence, which has not yet been fully examined. Solid perfect crystals were the most expensive; however fragments and dust were also used.

If someone remained near a crystal for a long time, Flur endowed him with great strength and dexterity and sharpened his mind. However, the effect of the crystal passed fast enough and was observed within a small range. Therefore, many animals started using the crystals in their ammunition and equipment to be stronger and more attentive on the battlefield.

<figure><img src="/files/G4BFkhXmVDobSGJNvZUE" alt=""><figcaption><p>Raccoon (Sam Lone Shooter)</p></figcaption></figure>

Little Sam used to be a favorite pet of Professor Machivarius but was one of the first to change after an experiment that went out of control. He stopped aging due to a huge dose of directed radiation and is now doomed to fight forever for his fellows.

He is no longer a cute pet – he is a prudent, deadly hunter and an icon of Resistance that will protect all animals, no matter what it takes!

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 30`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 15 points of damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack speed – 1`</mark>*

**"Meet my automatic fellow"**: the Raccoon switches his weapon to automatic mode for 5 seconds. Instantly, his attack increases to 20 points of damage, and the attack reload speed is reduced to 0 seconds (every 10 levels of the character increase the duration of the skill action by 0.5 seconds).

## **Hamster (Liam Sir Bombardier)**

<figure><img src="/files/R0RzCdWElqZweTDV5zZA" alt=""><figcaption><p>Hamster (Liam Sir Bombardier)</p></figcaption></figure>

Hamster was given the title of Sir for his exploits on the battlefield. You won't find a better demolition and bomb maker than him. They say that his homemade bomb has almost ended the era of Argo the Immortal's reign at the annual Steam Engine Festival. The explosion was so strong that it blew the Technopolis main square to pieces. However, Argo managed to survive that time and had since tightened the city's security.

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 40`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 10 points of damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack speed – 1`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack reload speed – 1 sec.`</mark>*

**"Burn it to hell!"**: the Hamster uses enhanced bombs for 6 seconds. Each hit destroys all enemies in sight (at the explosion side, every 10 levels give +0.5 to the skill action).

## **Hedgehog (Astrid Engineer)**

<figure><img src="/files/iTd87Fbe03PHnF4AnXwP" alt=""><figcaption><p>Hedgehog (Astrid Engineer)</p></figcaption></figure>

A wrench has been Hedgehog's favorite toy since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. She assembled her first steam bicycle at the age of two and built an entire airship at 10. All weapons and vehicles were assembled according to her drawings.

Hedgehog once studied the structure of the railway, which the robots used to deliver resources from the main factory, and unscrewed just one screw. The news about a huge train with coal, which had derailed for unknown reasons, hit the headlines of Technopolis that day.

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 40`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack speed –1 sec.`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Slasher attack – 15 points of damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Slasher attack reload speed – 0.5 sec.`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Wrench attack (throws a wrench from the distance) – 10 points of damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack reload speed (wrench) – 1 sec.`</mark>*

**Special skills:**

&#x20;                                                           ![](/files/iyBQxd2mR8rFSlqdTrJx)

**“Anticrossing barrier”:** the Hedgehog unfolds an anticrossing barrier that lasts 5 seconds and protects her from any damage (every 10 levels of the character increase the duration of the skill action by 0.5 seconds).

## **Walrus (Mambo Old Shaman)**

<figure><img src="/files/BI0cGONKVLDr2Pq0Ygoq" alt=""><figcaption><p>Walrus (Mambo Old Shaman)</p></figcaption></figure>

Old Shaman has long been living a sheltered life. The spirits of the elements are his faithful friends, the spirits of the ancestors are his family. He is one of the few in the world who has retained knowledge of the true forces of nature and ancestry. However, the times of hermitage and seclusion are over... Spirits whisper that it's time to stand up for the protection of the animals, it's time to strike back the living iron!

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 30`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 10 points (average distance)`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack speed – instant`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack reload speed – 0.3 sec.`</mark>*

**Special skills to choose:**

&#x20;                                                           ![](/files/x2Wu6axWafgFbmQsME17)

**"Power of elements" (damage):** the Walrus calls on the power of elements, unleashing the full power of nature on the enemies (destroys all enemies in sight). The elements also charge his weapons, increasing his attack by 10 points for 5 seconds. While the power of the elements is on, Shaman adds 5 points of health to himself and other members of the group for each enemy killed (every 10 levels of the character increase the duration of the skill action by 0.5 seconds).

&#x20;                                                  ![](/files/kzVLiPrKk4IYCenmJBvJ)

**“Spirits of ancestors” (healing/debuff):** Shaman calls on the spirits of ancestors, calling them for help. Disembodied spirits fly in all directions for 8 seconds, hitting all enemies on their way, slowing them down by 50% and causing 10 points of damage. Shaman adds 10 points of health to himself and the group for each enemy killed.

## **General Drevus**

<figure><img src="/files/puGr89jx8sAFw7whx73G" alt=""><figcaption><p>General Drevus</p></figcaption></figure>

One of the commanders was wounded by a bomb explosion on the field of a fierce battle near the Baobabs city. A small piece of a Flur crystal hit the general's iron head at speed. After two days of concussion, he began to see the world differently and realized the very essence of life. This is when he swore to protect all life and joined the Resistance army.

Engineer Hedgehog treated Drevus well. He has become even more deadly and ready to crush metal far and wide!

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 30`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Steam launcher attack – 10 points damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack reload speed (with a steam launcher) – 0.7 sec.`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Saw Attack (close) – 15 points damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Reload speed attack (saw) – 0.5 sec.`</mark>*

> General Drevus is a unique character and can only be bought through the [purchase of an NFT card](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/character-skin-nft-cards).

General Drevus used to be one of the most experienced warlords of the Argo the Immortal's army. He knows all the strategies, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities of iron soldiers. It is definitely recommended to keep such a valuable warrior.

**Special skills:**

&#x20;                                                           ![](/files/TI01ph35hAVeeUipDKQX)

**"Repair work":** Drevus conducts field repair work, rebuilding himself from the parts of destroyed enemies. The character recovers 10 points of health for each enemy killed for 4 seconds. Every 10 levels of the character increase the duration of the skill action by 0.5 seconds.

## **Shark (Bartolomeo Free Pirate)**

The Lord of the Seas and the Disaster of Machines. Hordes of robots are afraid to enter his territory. Shark has now come to help Resistance to crush the invader once and for all.

## **Fox (Morgen Silent Assassin)**

Fox [Morgen Vilius](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/gear-set-nft-cards/background-of-the-midnight-guardian-armor) was granted a nickname Silent Death by the night squads of robots. Nobody has ever seen him – only the reflections of his stellar daggers, which cut the gears of more than a hundred of soldiers.

## **Rabbit (Will Destroyer)**

Rabbit and his grenade launcher are known well throughout the Techno Empire. Destroyer loves to destroy hordes of robots from his launcher. Nobody managed to avoid the deadly hail of grenades when Rabbit fights.

## **Sheep (Liz and Betty Nuts)**

Two crazy sisters fight enemies back-to-back. Sheep never break up on the battlefield. One crushes the robots with two cleavers, while the other shoots off metal heads. Liz and Betty are one of the deadliest fighting tandems in the Great Resistance history.

## **Chameleon (Drake Vigilant Eye)**

Skilled sniper and professional in camouflage. He merged with the greenery and shot over a hundred robots from his legendary steam rifle one day, taking a good position on a tree.

## **Wolf (Waldguard Steel Fang)**

Steel Fang ended up on the Muskrat's surgery table after being seriously wounded in one of the battles. To save the wolf's life, Mad Scientist implanted part of a robot mechanism into his body. The wolf survived but is now half wolf and half robot.

## **Muskrat (Mick Mad Scientist)**

Muskrat's knowledge of exoskeletons has helped many patients recover. Not all warriors approve of his appearance in the ranks of the rebels. There are rumors of horrific experiments on animals and robots in the barracks, but there is no evidence against Scientist.

## **Chicken (Mochizuki Ninja)**

Chicken swore allegiance to Sam the Raccoon and joined the Resistance army. Invaluable espionage and combat skills were very useful to the rebels. The animals learned about many roadblocks and traps in advance from their best spy. The warriors repeatedly asked to teach them deadly techniques, but Chicken vowed to never let anyone in the secrets of the “ninja way”.

# Enemies

The **Empire's Battle** universe is dangerous and unpredictable. You will need to fight to survive, and it is worth knowing your enemies as well as possible to be ready for any attack!

## **Razor Blade**

<figure><img src="/files/GJVV6EOgy5knnesj1UhZ" alt=""><figcaption><p>Razor Blade</p></figcaption></figure>

**Razor Blade** is the most common enemy in **Empire's Battle**. These little robots feature a simple design and do not require a lot of resources, which is why the Techno Empire makes thousands of these models every day.

However, you should not be deceived by their small size and not scary appearance. These little ones are cold-blooded killers with minor intelligence and razor-sharp spiked blades used to attack whatever they are told to.

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 10`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 5 points of damage`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Gets destroyed when colliding with a character`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Death effect – nothing`</mark>*

## **Acids**

<figure><img src="/files/UkoqZtiHCWOUDcfqG5PL" alt=""><figcaption><p>Acids</p></figcaption></figure>

**Acids** are as numerous as their previous model **Razor Blade**, but more deadly, dangerous, and tenacious. A mixture of acids boils in their flasks, which easily corrode almost any material. Don’t let them close to you.

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 10`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 10 points of damage. It casts the Chemical Burn debuff, which for 2 seconds increases attack reload duration by 0.3 seconds.`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Doesn’t get destroyed when colliding with the character, kicks off and attacks again.`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Death effect – it explodes and applies the Metal Erosion debuff to all other enemies on the screen, slowing them down by 20% for 2 seconds.`</mark>*

## **General**

<figure><img src="/files/gbslfEkv36YHu3IM80ng" alt=""><figcaption><p>General</p></figcaption></figure>

**General** is a big, intelligent, prudent, and very dangerous enemy. These robots are self-learning and can easily lead whole armies.

They are the elite and personal cavalry of Argo the Immortal. Few will be able to resist General in a one-on-one fight. His steam launchers destroy all living things in their path.

**Properties:**

* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Health – 50`</mark>*
* &#x20;*<mark style="color:purple;">`Attack – 15 points of damage`</mark>*
* &#x20;*<mark style="color:purple;">`It doesn’t get destroyed when colliding with the character and attacks again`</mark>*
* *<mark style="color:purple;">`Death effect – it explodes, causing 10 points of damage to all other mobs`</mark>*

`💡 The robots represented in the Whitepaper are from the release set. As the game develops, we will introduce new enemies with unique attacks and weapons.`

Online mode PvP 1vs1 becomes available to the player when his character reaches level 9.

### **Mode essence**

To fight other players online, choose any character that has reached **level 9** from your collection. Play in the standard survival mode. The player does not see the enemy character, he only sees the level of his health, the number of killed Mobs, and the portrait of the enemy.

**{THIS GAME MODE IS ILLUSTRATED HERE}**

## ⚔️ [**PvP dynamic mode**](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/pvp-dynamic-mode)

# PvP dynamic mode

PvP dynamic mode has exactly the same matchmaking and betting rules as static modes.

PvP fights occur in small arenas where one can move both vertically and horizontally.

## 1. **Survival**

Players fight until all opponents from the other team are eliminated. Each player can respawn three times in a single battle session (regardless of the special skills of characters that can resurrect allies).

> The length of the game session is 5 minutes.

## 2. **Capturing the Flag (2vs2, 3vs3)**

Each team must defend their base, where the flag is set. The goal is to capture the enemy's flag and deliver it to your base. The first team to capture three flags wins.

> The length of the game session is 7 minutes.

## 3. [**Clan wars**](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/clan-wars) **(5vs5)**

This PvP mode is available only for the players from the same clan. The battle is fought against players of another clan.

The map shows 3 resource development points. Players of the same team are to capture as many deposits as possible and hold them, defending themselves from a hostile clan.

Each second of hold gives 1 point. The first team to reach 300 points wins.

## 🌄 [Dangerous areas “Dungeons”](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/dangerous-areas-dungeons)

# Dangerous areas “Dungeons”

**The world of Empire’s Battle** is large and diverse, and the Techno Empire rules in almost every corner of it. But some areas are especially dangerous. They are inhabited by crazed robots that have fallen out of Empire's control, terrible mutants changed for the worst by the radiation, wild tribes of animals that destroy everyone who carelessly wanders into their territory. Alone or in groups of up to three characters, the players will be able to explore deep caves, abandoned cities, impenetrable windbreaks in the dark forests and challenge the most dangerous opponents of the world of Empire's Battle.

Enemies in the "dungeons" are most dangerous to the players. They have improved health, speed, attack, and special skills. Each dungeon ends with a fight against a boss.

**Bosses** are unique enemies with incredible strength, survivability, and special skills. To defeat a boss, you need well-coordinated teamwork. However, victories are generously rewarded ([FLUR ](/token)or [DUST](/token)).

Dungeons are divided into two types: **Flur Deposit** and **Research**.

#### 💎 **Dungeon type: Flur Deposit**

The game session is a classic arcade mode where a player or a team of two players defends [drill ](/virtual-mining)and fends off enemies. After killing "X" opponents, the dungeon boss appears. [Mining ](/virtual-mining)in these dungeons during the session is increased by 5%.

#### 🔎 **Dungeon type: Exploration**

The game session is a classic 2D platformer (like [dynamic PVP](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/pvp-dynamic-mode) mode). A group of two or three players clears enemies from the "rooms" of the dungeon. With every new “room”, the opponents become stronger, and the boss is awaiting the players at the end of the dungeon. In this type of dungeon, the chance of items of all types fall-out is increased by 5%.

The chance of [Unique NFT Parts](/nft-and-play-and-earn) fall-out in all dungeon types is increased by 15%. For clans, this value is 20%.

You can get into the dungeon only through a special portal by paying a ticket (tokens) to the portal worker.

## 🗡️ [Clan wars](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/clan-wars)

# Clan wars

In **Empire's Battle: World of Steam**, players can found their own CLAN and explore the world together, fighting against the dominance of Techno Empire, conquering the most dangerous areas – "Dungeons" – and fighting other clans for supremacy.

Like characters, clans have levels and can be upgraded by the players. In turn, a clan gives players bonuses in the form of passive skills, exclusive items, and additional earnings.

#### 🌎 **Battles for No Man's Lands**

Wanderers often talk about plains without robots or animals. These lands are as dangerous as they are rich in Flur deposits. They say, these plains are under an ancient curse, and even Argo the Immortal himself does not stick his nose there.

However, there is little that can frighten those who crave profit, wealth, and fame. Rumors about huge crystals protruding from the earth have made many clans gather armies and equipment for mining. Soon they will move out, and heaven knows what will happen when these greedy beasts meet and refuse to share.

### 🏰 **Land and Castles**

**A clan in Empire's Battle** is virtually a family. Every family wants a roof over their heads and strong walls to feel safe and be able to train new recruits, improve skills, and store acquired property.

On the border with the No Man's Lands, there are many lands that animals are afraid to live in and that are not controlled by the Empire. These lands are secretly ruled by wild tribes, clans of mutants, and "crazed" robots. But the most inventive and enterprising clans have an opportunity to negotiate with the inhabitants of the No Man's Lands and buy a plot in these dangerous areas. All plots of land and structures on them are unique [NFT items](/nft-and-play-and-earn). Each plot of land, depending on its rarity, gives the players of the clan **the "Clan Grounds"** buff, i.e., a bonus to gained experience **of 5 to 20%**. The clan can lend the lands to other players to speed up characters leveling.

> On the plot of land, a clan can build three types of structures and start researching. The latter allow building additional structures that strengthen clan members.

1. Clan house
2. Fortress
3. Castle

**Clan house**

A level 1 clan building (maintenance 100 Flurs a week).

* **Clan storage.** The capacity is 50 items. Clan members can use the items if they have appropriate access rights.
* **A level 1 training range** allows clan members to improve skills of the characters (power and duration by +1 sec).

**Fortress**

A level 2 clan building (maintenance 150 Flurs a week).

* **Clan storage.** The capacity is 100 items. Clan members can use the items if they have appropriate access rights.
* **A level 2 training range** allows clan members to improve skills of the characters (power and duration by +2 sec).
* **Alchemy lab.** Makes Minor Healing Potions, Skill Activation Potions (at a 30% discount).

**Castle**

A level 3 clan building (maintenance 250 Flurs a week).

* **Clan storage.** The capacity is 150 items. Clan members can use the items if they have appropriate access rights.
* **A level 3 training range** allows clan members to improve skills of the characters (power and duration by +3 sec).
* **Alchemy lab.** Makes Minor Healing Potions, Skill Activation Potions (at a 40% discount).
* **Mine.** A personal Flur deposit, which allows members of the clan to "Mine" within its limits at a rate of x1.5 Flur a minute.

🧙🏽‍♂️ `Any clan buildings can be attacked by another clan once a week, strictly during the time window allotted for clan wars.`

Battles take place according to the rules of [Dynamic PVP mode](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/pvp-dynamic-mode) 5vs5 (with a maximum of 40 players on each side).

**If the defending party** wins, the clan building becomes invulnerable for the next 2 weeks and cannot be attacked, and each clan member gets a Clan Power buff, which boosts the attack power of all characters in PVE modes by 2 points for a period of 3 days.

**If the defending party loses**, the clan loses bonuses from the training range and the laboratory for a three-day period.

**If the attacking party** wins, all members of the clan get a “Winners” buff, which boosts attack power by two units. Besides, they get a bonus from the invaded training range and alchemy laboratory for a three-day period, as well as control over the mine if the Castle class structure has been captured.

**If the attacking party loses,** the attacking clan gets a "Weenies" debuff, which reduces the attack force of all characters by one, reducing the duration of all skills by 1.5 seconds. The gained experience is also reduced by 10% for a two-day period.

# Potions

<figure><img src="/files/cytQbUh7a368myDAp4G0" alt=""><figcaption><p>Healing Potion</p></figcaption></figure>

❤️ **Healing Potions** are the most popular potions that even inexperienced alchemists can brew. Being imbued with the power of Flur, they can heal even serious wounds in a matter of seconds.

> **Minor Healing Potion** restores **30% of the character's health.**

> **Major Healing Potion** restores **60% of the character's health.**

*Purchased for crystals (*[*Dust*](/token)*) at the Item Shop.*

<figure><img src="/files/dMAuRDfiXjaogg1mTNHS" alt=""><figcaption><p>Skill Activation Potion</p></figcaption></figure>

🧬 **Skill Activation Potion:** each character has a unique active skill that makes him more powerful for a short period, greatly increasing the chances of survival.

After use, the skill is reloaded (activated again after killing "X" enemies).

> The potion reloads the skill instantly.

*Purchased for crystals (*[*Dust*](/token)*) at the Item Shop.*

<figure><img src="/files/zXL7Mdw9XKA0pm2IQT1P" alt=""><figcaption><p>Slowdown Potion</p></figcaption></figure>

🧪 **Slowdown Potions** make the game easier at the most difficult moments by slowing all enemies for "X" seconds by 50%, thus increasing the chances of survival. The air becomes viscous from the vapors of this mixture, leave alone enemies. Legs go pit-a-pat and thoughts get confused ...

> **Minor Slowdown Potion** slows down all enemies of the Living Organism class by **50% for four seconds.**

> **Major Slowdown Potion** slows down all enemies of the Living Organism class by **50% for seven seconds.**

*Purchased for crystals (*[*Dust*](/token)*) at the Item Shop.*

🧪 **Potions of Corrosion.** Developed by the best alchemists, the mixture instantly corrodes all metal parts of the enemies. To use, simply break the vial with the mixture.

> **Minor Potion of Corrosion** slows all enemies of the Mechanism class by **50% for four seconds.**

> **Major Potion of Corrosion** slows all enemies of the Mechanism class by **50% for seven seconds.**

*Purchased for crystals (*[*Dust*](/token)*) at the Item Shop.*

🧪 **Reaction Speed Potions** have unpleasant taste but are very useful in combat. Rumor holds that this potion is made from the mucus of the earth spiders that build their nests on Flur dikes. These spiders are incredibly fast and are almost impossible to catch without special equipment.

> **Minor Reaction Speed Potion** reduces attack cooldown to **0 sec** and lasts for **5 seconds.**

> **Major Reaction Speed Potion** reduces attack cooldown to **0 sec** and lasts for **8 seconds.**

*It is purchased for tokens (*[*Flur*](/token)*) at the Item Store.*

🔥 **Live Fire Potions.** The secret formula of this potion is known only to a few initiates. Live Fire devours mechanisms with great zeal and pleasure but does not hurt living organisms. To use, simply break a vial with Live Fire.

> **Minor Live Fire Potion. In 4 seconds,** it sets on fire all enemies in the character's line of sight. It makes **1 point of damage** once a secon&#x64;**.**

> **Major Live Fire Potion. In 7 seconds,** it sets on fire all enemies in the character's line of sight. It makes **1 point of damage** once a secon&#x64;**.**

*Purchased for crystals (*[*Dust*](/token)*) at the Item Shop.*

## 💊 [Boosters](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/boosters)

# Gear

## **Armor, weapons, and artifacts**

The game will feature many items, gear, weapons, and artifacts. Each item will boost a certain property of the character, and special artifacts ([NFT items](/nft-and-play-and-earn)) will even give new skills.

💡 **Key properties:**

* **Endurance** accounts for the amount of health: 1 point of endurance = 0.1 points of health.
* **Strength** accounts for the attack power in short-range and long-range combat: 1 point of strength = 0.1 points of damage.
* **Agility** accounts for attack speed: 10 points of agility = minus 0.01 sec of attack reload.
* **Armor** accounts for protecting the character and absorbing damage: +10 points of armor absorb 0.1 points of damage. (The chance of Armor triggering is 10%).

🥋 **1. Gear items:** each piece (headgear, jacket, pants, boots, gloves or artifacts) has its own durability. Over time **(10% a day)** their durability drops, and the item needs repair❗️

* Jacket;
* Pants;
* Boots;
* Gloves;
* Artifacts;
* Mechanical modules.

*All items with quality below “Epic” get repaired for (*[*Dust*](/token)*); items of levels “Epic” and above get repaired for (*[*Flur*](/token)*), respectively.*

🌟 **2. Item merger —** if there are several identical items of gear, the player can combine them into one item of the same class to boost the level of the item and its characteristics.

> While adventuring in the world of Empire’s Battle, your characters will find and earn various LOOT. These may be simple potion bottles or various items of gear and artifacts. You can sell LOOT to a vendor or other players, or improve the items of gear you need by means of a merger (potions cannot be merged).

❗️*Level 1 to 5 items are merged for (*[*Dust*](/token)*) crystals❗️*

❗️*Level 5 and above items are merged for (*[*Flur*](/token)*) crystals❗️*

**EXAMPLE:** A player has two equal jackets of ordinary quality. After merger, the item's quality can improve to Unusual, and the item can gain new properties. The higher the quality of the initial items, the higher quality item can be obtained.

> The maximum merge level is +10

* Level 1 merge: You need 2 identical items with **merge level 0** (+10 points of Armor) / (100% chance - 10 Flurs).
* Level 2 merge: You need 2 identical items with **merge level 1** (+20 points of Armor) / (100% chance - 20 Flurs).
* Level 3 merge: You need 2 identical items with **merge level 2** (+30 points of Armor) / (90% chance - 30 Flurs).
* Level 4 merge: You need 2 identical items with **merge level 3** (+40 points of Armor and +1 point of strength) / (70% chance - 50 Flurs).
* Level 5 merge: You need 2 identical items with **merge level 4** (+50 points of Armor / +2 points of strength / +10 points of endurance, hidden effect is possible) / (60% chance - 80 Flurs).
* Level 6 merge: You need 3 identical items with **merge level 5** (+60 points of Armor / +5 points of strength / +20 points of endurance, hidden effect is possible) / (50% chance - 90 Flurs).
* Level 7 merge: You need 3 identical items with **merge level 6** (+70 points of Armor / +6 points of strength / +50 points of endurance / +0.1 sec to the effect of the skill, a hidden effect is possible) / (40% chance - 100 Flurs).
* Level 8 merge: You need 3 identical items with **merge level 7** (+80 points of Armor / +7 points of strength / +60 points of endurance / +0.1 sec to the effect of the skill, a hidden effect is possible) / (30% chance - 120 Flurs).
* Level 9 merge: You need 4 identical items with **merge level 8** (+90 points of Armor / +9 points of strength / +80 points of endurance / +0.3 sec to the effect of the skill, a hidden effect is possible) / (20% chance - 150 Flurs).
* Level 10 merge: You need 4 identical items with **merge level 9** (+100 points of Armor / +10 points of strength / +90 points of endurance / +0.5 sec to the effect of the skill, a hidden effect is possible) / (10% chance - 200 Flurs).

*A possibility of breaking items when merging exists. This possibility can be reduced by using* [*Flur*](/token) *crystals.*

🏹 **3. Weapon modifiers** are various devices and mechanisms that allow to enhance the main characteristics of the weapon. They are beaten out of bosses.

* Attack boosters — ***short range / long range combat.*** Can be of various classes: ***Simple, Unusual, Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Artifact;***
* Attack boosters are modifiers that boost attack speed of the weapons;
* Attack reload speed boosters are modifiers used to boost attack reload speed.

*These are installed for (*[*Flur*](/token) *and* [*Dust*](/token)*) crystals.*

*They remain active for a limited period, after which they require reloading for a crystal (*[*Flur*](/token)*).*

⚔️ **4. Artifacts:** they tell legends about these gizmos imbued with the power of [Flur](/token). They are said to bestow great power on their owners. But you've got to pay for everything!

Artifacts constantly need energy, so if someone careless tries such a thing on, the artifact will drain his life force. But don't get discouraged, the best engineering minds have found the ways to curb the power of artifacts. [Flur](/token) crystals are installed in them, which “quench their thirst” for energy for a while.

They fall out from rare bosses. There is also a chance to get an artifact from a [Flur](/token) deposit.

* &#x20;***Artifacts of passive skills*** give the owner a unique passive skill. They consume "X" amount of [Flurs](/token) a day (depending on the rarity and power of the artifact).
* ***Artifacts of active skills*** give the owner a unique active skill. They consume "X" amount of [Flurs](/token) a day (depending on the rarity and power of the artifact).
* ***Artifacts of innate skills*** enhance the character's basic skill. They consume "X" amount of [Flurs](/token) a day (depending on the rarity and power of the artifact).

## 🏅 [Rental of valuables](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/rental-of-valuables)

# Rental of valuables

A player who has valuables on his account ([characters](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/characters), [items](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/gear), or [artifacts](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/gear)) can sell them or rent to other users. The whole process is automated and goes through the in-game exchange. There are two rental options:

**Fixed rate**

The renter pays the owner a fixed number of tokens for having the valuable for a certain period. Accordingly, the owner's profit does not depend on any actions of the renter.

**Fee**

The renter pays the owner part of the loot obtained by using the rented valuable. Thus, the profit of the owner depends on the activity and success of the player who rents his item or character for some time.

> 💡 `In both cases, the terms of the transaction (rental duration, the amount of the fixed payment or fee) are specified by the owner of the valuable when applying to the in-game exchange. The renter has the right to agree to the offer that interests him.`

## 🏞️ [Locations](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/locations)

# Skills

**Skills:** the player buys skills from the Talent Tree for tokens ([Flur](/token)).

## **Character leveling system**

**Talent tree:** each character in the game can be upgraded to level 90.

> *`Every 10 levels, the player can choose one of the four passive skills in the talent tree.`*

**Example:**

* Gold Rush Level 1 (increases the number of tokens obtained by 1%);
* Able student Level 1 (increases the amount of experience gained by 2%);
* Big fella Level 1 (increases the amount of health of the character by 10% of the maximum), etc.

> *`Every 30 levels, the player can choose one of the four active skills in the talent tree.`*

**Example:**

* Mend wounds Level 1 (restores 30% health to the character);
* Smoke grenade Level 1 (slows enemies by 50% for 3 seconds), etc.

💡 `The player can have several characters with various "builds" for various tasks. like earning, pumping, PvP, etc.`

***

## 🏞️ [Locations](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/locations)

# Locations

The **Empire’s Battle** world is filled with various unique themed locations and enemies.

## 🧩 **Purchasing unique locations**

When using his character for fighting, the player can purchase a unique package with a location designed specifically for this character and with enemies of special configurations.

In these locations, the **chance of** [**NFT**](/nft-and-play-and-earn) parts fall-out increases (for the character to which this location belongs).

For example, for your Raccoon, you can purchase a package with Baobab city location, where raccoons live, as we know from the[ world history](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/plot). When Raccoon is fighting in a similar location, the chance of NFT fall-out increases.

Every month, we will release NFT skins for the characters. Purchasing a package with a suitable location will help you in your pursuit of a unique NFT image.

*It is purchased for Crystals (*[*Flur*](/token)*) from the*[ *Game Shop*](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store)*.*

## **Technopolis**

![Technopolis](/files/d7bNQK206BdBiqeLCLUY)

The capital of the Argo the Immortal’s kingdom. Nothing happens here without his consent. The huge techno city never sleeps, same as its vigilant guards at the entrances on all sides.

High steel walls, metal towers, steam over the city, and not a single green gap. Sam Lone Shooter once called the place "Hell's Bath" and the words quickly caught on in the animal world.

By order of Argo, most enterprises and factories have been moved to the outside of the city. This may play into the hands of animals from Resistance, since it is easier to attack a single factory than an entire city swarming with robots!

## **Baobab city**

![Baobab city](/files/YmnE5gQLafm85P1Tb2Jr)

This impregnable city has always been the dear dream of Argo the Immortal. However, with the advent of Resistance, the city has become almost invulnerable. Powerful trees with their branches blown by the winds for several thousand years and reinforced with thick sheets of steel protect residents from hardships and enemies. Their huge roots cover the bottom approaches to the city, creating a small village.

## **Airship**

![Airship](/files/qtNm7YUHrujcfAdikJMF)

Animals' favorite business is trade, not war with robots at all! The true art in the **Empire’s Battle** world is the skill of bargaining, raising the price, and making one pay for old boots through the nose.

The most famous trading post in the world is not on the ground at all! The airship hovering in the clouds, a clever invention of Hedgehog, is the meeting place for clans from all over the world. Only here you can see Raccoon trying to sell an old jacket to Shark, or Hamster selling bombs and making dynamite mix to order.

## 🏦 [Store](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store)

# Token

In the **Empire's Battle: World of Steam** game, 2 tokens of various types and purposes are implemented: **FLUR** *(a solid Flur crystal)* and **DUST** *(Flur shards or dust).*&#x20;

![](/files/K62HQvM1wG0CZSomEobb)

**FLUR** is Empire's Battle's flagship token. The precious solid crystal plays a key role as a link between in-game assets and *In-Real-Life* fiat. The token is used to buy in-game [NFTs](/nft-and-play-and-earn), pay loot from [clan wars](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes/clan-wars), buy [artifacts](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/gear), and much more.

**FLUR** can be freely traded at the crypto exchange, staked, or used for rapid growth in the gaming world.

The **FLUR** token worth depends on demand and offer.

![](/files/f3iT5Fx8UeqMbnG4UxhM)

**DUST** is the second token of the project, which is equivalent to the in-game gold.

Shards of Flur (**DUST**) are used as a reward for game quest completion, for paying profit [from bets](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/game-modes) and destroying [enemies](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/enemies). One can also repair [equipment](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/gear) or buy [boosters](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/boosters) or [auxiliary items](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/store/boosters/auxiliary-items).

The **DUST** token worth depends on demand and offer.

## 💰 [Virtual mining](/virtual-mining)

# Virtual mining

The most valuable resources in the **Empire’s Battle: World of Steam** world are crystals of [Flur](/token), the mineral with incredible qualities that have not been fully understood yet. However, it is clear that more [Flur](/token) means more power, more energy, and more opportunities.

Still, [Flur](/token) mining is an incredibly dangerous and difficult business. Deposits of the wonderful mineral are not so common, and many want to get it! Therefore, mining must be fast. A mechanism called ***EXTRACTION DRILL*** has been invented for this purpose.

***The drill*** is a fully autonomous device powered by Flur. The drill is installed at the deposit of crystals. Using special "Paws", it sifts the earth and attracts crystals and Flur particles to itself, collecting them in a special container.

<figure><img src="/files/IsPN5t8znU6bcnRsNImb" alt=""><figcaption><p>Extraction drill</p></figcaption></figure>

> **The player can merge drills to increase their performance. However, this merging is only available after reaching level 10 drill.**

* Level 1 merging: two level 10 drills are needed.
* Level 2 merging: two drills with **level 1 merging** are needed.
* Level 3 merging: two drills with **level 2 merging** are needed..
* Level 4 merging: two drills with **level 3 merging** are needed.
* Level 5 merging: …

*Merging is done for crystals (*[*Flur*](/token)*).*

*A possibility of breaking items when merging exists. This possibility can be reduced by using*[ *Flur*](/token) *crystals.*

The drill has many modifications and improvements. The more you work on improving your DRILL, the more crystals you will get.

*Any drill upgrades are made for*[ *FLUR*](/token)*.*

*The drill is repaired for*[ *FLUR*](/token)*.*

💡 `To ensure good mining, take care of your mining mechanism. Always repair it when it breaks, upgrade it to make the drill more profitable, and protect it from Argo the Immortal’s army, which is constantly trying to prevent crystal extraction` ❗️

# Copper NFT Collection “Midnight Guardian”

## **Copper NFT Collection “Midnight Guardian”**

Robots need neither sleep nor rest, so even at night, the peace and tranquility of Baobab city are to be protected from attacks of the deadly machines. In complete darkness and ringing silence, it may seem that the rears of the animals are completely defenseless, but **the Midnight Guardian** never sleeps.

In the battles under the moon, invaders have always been defeated. Until now, not a single fighter of Argo the Immortal's army has got through this elite night squad.

🧙‍♂️ [Character Skin NFT Cards](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/character-skin-nft-cards)

🔮 [Gear Set NFT Cards](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/gear-set-nft-cards)

💡 Purchasing **Character Skin NFT Card** and collecting a complete **set of NFT Gear Cards** gives the player -0.1 second to the speed of attack reload.

## **The value of NFT cards for the player and the investor**

In Empire’s Battle: World Of Steam, NFT skin cards have not only aesthetic (new looks of the character) and economic (sales income) meaning; they also have high game functionality.

Each card has unlocked and hidden properties (depending on its rarity)

* strength;
* endurance;
* attack reload speed;
* armor;
* special skill boost;
* formation of new skills in the character.

Thus, each NFT-card, in addition to changing the appearance of the character, strengthens him, allowing to play, mine, or stake more successfully.

NFT cards of set game items open up completely new possibilities for the player. Having collected a full set of items, the player can significantly strengthen his character and get additional bonuses or even skills!

# Character Skin NFT Cards

#### **Raccoon — Craig Jacklighter**

Craig the Raccoon got to the night squad for a good reason. Any shooter from Resistance will envy his keen eye. No one puts robots out from such a distance. Even on the most moonless night, he would spot gleams of metal miles away and shoot a few bullets dead on target.

💡 `This NFT skin gives the character: +10 points of strength / +50 points of endurance.`

#### **Hedgehog — Betty Scout**

Betty mastered the art of disguise at a young age, when she helped her friend steal parts for various inventions. Because of her mastery of blending in with the surroundings, Betty always surprises inattentive robots and delivers devastating blows, slicing through metal with her famous saber.

💡 `This NFT skin gives the character: +10 points of strength / +50 points of endurance.`

#### **Walrus — Earl Night Watchman**

Earl, nicknamed Night Watchman, considers keeping the calm of the starry sky his calling. He simply cannot allow those ignorant pieces of metal to walk around under the sparkling canvas of the firmament. Hardly anybody destroys hordes of robots with such cruelty and ferocity as this rampaging walrus.

💡 `This NFT skin gives the character: +10 points of strength / +1 second to the effect of the special skill.`

#### **Hamster – Jack Fireworks**

Jack was nicknamed Fireworks by his older brother, Sir Bombardier. The brothers have always been fond of fireworks, but their opinions about explosions drastically differ.

Jack has never been interested in explosions as such, but he likes the beauty of the flames and sparks that devour everything in their path. He has always seen some charm in it, destructive and deadly. He joined the night squad to enjoy the deepest darkness being illuminated in a second by a hellish fire that melts metal.

💡 `This NFT skin gives the character: +10 points of strength / +50 points of endurance.`

#### **General Drevus**

One of the commanders was wounded by a bomb explosion on the field of a fierce battle near the Baobabs city. A small piece of a Flur crystal hit the general's iron head at speed. After two days of concussion, he began to see the world differently and realized the very essence of life. This is when he swore to protect all life and joined the Resistance army.

Engineer Hedgehog treated Drevus well. He has become even more deadly and ready to crush metal far and wide!

General Drevus used to be one of the most experienced warlords of Argo the Immortal’s army. He knows all the strategies, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities of iron soldiers. Such a valuable warrior is definitely worth keeping around.

> General Drevus is a unique character and can only be gained by purchasing an NFT card.

💡 `This NFT skin gives the character: +10 points of strength / +50 points of endurance.`

## 🔮 [Gear Set NFT Cards](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/gear-set-nft-cards)

# Gear Set NFT Cards

The **Midnight Guardian** armor has a special story that is told by travelers wandering in the night. Wearing even a single piece of this legendary gear is already an honor, and collecting a complete battle set means becoming a new Guardian!

🌋 [History of Midnight Guardian Armor](/copper-nft-collection-midnight-guardian/gear-set-nft-cards/background-of-the-midnight-guardian-armor)

#### **Hood of Midnight Guardian**

The hood has a special mask that absorbs the sound of breathing. This item allows the Guardian stand directly behind the enemy before an attack.

(+10 points of armor)

![Hood of Midnight Guardian](/files/DWsGbbQzylaGCBUSxwUV)

#### **Jacket of Midnight Guardian**

The jacket is impregnated with a special resin that does not let cold and water through. The special color of the jacket blends perfectly with greenery, fallen leaves, or a rock in the shade.

(+30 points of armor)

![Jacket of Midnight Guardian](/files/5JYDuiILvQVIfdMD81WP)

#### **Gloves of Midnight Guardian**

The gloves have durable metal brass knuckles for close-range combat. Morgen Vilius himself smelted the brass knuckles for the gloves from the dead robots' gears.

(+10 points of armor)

![Gloves of Midnight Guardian](/files/9PIcCxd17mUHVOvoOFE4)

#### **Pants of Midnight Guardian**

Wide and durable pants that can always be stuffed with the proper things. Packed rations, a repair kit, a couple of clips or something stolen from robots' warehouse – there is always a little more room in your pockets.

(+30 points of armor)

#### **Boots of Midnight Guardian**

Settled in the dangerous gorges of the Rocky Dragon, Guardian Morgen Vilius had to move almost silently so as not to provoke a rockfall with the echo of his steps. He had an idea of making shoes with noise-absorbing soles. Even when running fast, the shoes make no sound, and this has saved Fox's life many times.

(+20 points of armor)

#### **Weapon steam booster**

For better bullet penetration, a steam booster is installed on the barrel for penetrating steel walls through. Such a mechanism can also be installed on cold arms for a steam push during a swing.

(+10 points of strength)

💡 `NFT cards of gear set items have bonus accrual. The more cards from the same set the player collects, the more bonuses and boosts his character will get.`

`— 4 items collected (+50 points of endurance);`

`— 5 items collected (+50 points of endurance /+20 points of strength);`

`— Complete set of items collected (+50 points of endurance /+20 points of strength / +1 second to the duration of the character's skill).`

❗️ When a player collects a full set, he gets an additional +100 points of armor..

Unlocked properties of the complete set (+100 points of armor) plus additional bonus for the complete set (+100 points of armor) = +200 points of armor (-2 points of damage)❗️

# Background of the Midnight Guardian armor

Once upon a time, a young fox named [Morgen Vilius](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/characters) wandered around looking for shelter from the weather in cold autumn. It was pouring and impossible to see anything further than two meters away. The fox suddenly ran into a high wall of metal sheets. Trying to avoid the piercing icy wind, he began to climb the wall, hoping that he could hide behind it, set up a fire, and rest from the storm. Climbing over the parapet, the fox noticed the shape of the building and felt very happy, because he did not hope to spend the night under the roof that day.

A few years ago, Morgen was exiled from HoleCity for his radical thoughts about robots. Oddly enough, the cunning foxes appeared to be not so smart and believed that their community was under the protection of the Techno Empire. Three months after the exile, Morgen came back to beg for another chance to return home, but found only cold ashes.

However, his frozen instincts did not sleep, and the fox was on the alert. “So much metal means nothing good, though it might be one of those abandoned raccoon roadblocks that some traveler told me one day. These warlike animals often built walls from the shells of defeated robots...” – the intruder reassured himself. Morgen walked more confidently when he considered to describe the place right.

The building was round and very wide. The windows were quite low, and he could clearly see no one inside through them. The fox opened the latch on the window with a claw and quickly got in. Holding his breath, he began to look around.

“No oven, no hearth… Damn it!” Morgen touched the ice wall with his shoulder and realized that it was made of sheets of metal. Animals don’t build houses like these. The fox's heart was beating so hard that it could rival the noise of a steam engine.

Next, he heard a noise in the street. Something large was moving towards the locked door. Staggering in fear, the fox knocked something steel onto the floor. It turned out to be two dusty daggers, which he immediately picked up to arm himself. Morgen rushed to the window, grabbing a bag and a bottle of viscous liquid lying on the floor.

The fox jumped out of the window and ran into the robot – and not into a an ordinary one… It was General. The animal grabbed the robot in his paws without thinking and fiercely opened them wide, cutting the body frame into pieces. The fox stood frozen for a second, shocked by the sharpness of the blades, but quickly regained temper and ran away. Thanks to the veil of rain, he managed to get over the wall unnoticed, but it was clear from the growing noise that the [Argo’s](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/enemies) deadly hounds were following him.

Morgen did not know where he was heading, but he was confident that any delay could cost him life. After a few kilometers, the animal felt an inexplicably powerful energy kick and accelerated. Finally, he ran into the gorges of the Rocky Dragon, found a cave, and spent the night. When he woke up in the morning, he found [Flur](/token) in the bag – there was a lot of [Flur](/token). Now Morgen understood the source of strength for such a long escape after long wanderings.

Wrapping himself in his cloak and sitting closer to a small fire, the fox decided to take a closer look at his new weapon. The rain washed away the dust, and the daggers sparkled as if they were made from stars. A beautiful ornate handle fit perfectly in the paw. Morgen was very happy to have his new stuff, and the bag with Flur heartened him like a fire. The fox knew nothing about the stolen mysterious liquid in the bottle, but it couldn’t have been stored in the [Argo Immortal's](/empires-battle-world-of-steam/plot) royal warehouse for no reason...

Morgen Vilius, the future most dangerous and wanted criminal of the Techno Empire, met the mysterious hermit blacksmith there, in the Rocky Dragon. He created a special camouflage armor for the fox under the moon on the sacred stones of the gorge, and he had no equal now. The equipment featured great performance and simplicity; Morgen could move silently and merge with the environment in it, which gave him an invaluable advantage in the attack.

There are many legends about this cunning fox. Some say he made an alliance with the wolves of the gorge. Others saw how Morgen killed a whole regiment of steel soldiers all by himself... One thing we know for sure is that he was nicknamed Silent Assassin not for his low voice. There are legends about his daggers, which sparkle brighter than the stars in the night. Thanks to Morgen Vilius, the robots are afraid to go outside the walls at night, because Midnight Guardian moves faster than lightning and quieter than the wind.
