#### HERO STORY

They say Astrid's first toy was not a stuffed animal, but an old wrench. While other children played in the streets of Baobab, she spent hours taking apart broken steam-powered machines to understand how they worked, then put them back together—often making them even better than before.

In time, her workshop became the true heart of the Resistance. Steam-powered machines, weapons, and armor were built from her designs, airships were repaired there, and new mechanisms were assembled. If something could be repaired or improved, Astrid always found a way to do it.

But it was not another invention that brought her true fame. It was a single screw.

For a long time, she studied the railway that the robots of the Steam Empire used to transport coal and resources to Technopolis. After examining hundreds of components, Astrid discovered the weak point in the entire system. Under the cover of night, she quietly unscrewed just one small fastening screw.

The next morning, a massive freight train carrying coal for the Empire's factories derailed. Rail traffic was paralyzed for several weeks, while the newspapers of Technopolis spent a long time explaining the disaster as "an unforeseen technical malfunction."

Since then, people in the Resistance have said that Astrid's strength lies neither in a hammer nor in a weapon. She wins by knowing exactly which screw to unscrew.
